Let's just clear out, that your son and baby are both okay, they are not in life danger. Now, about Matthew. There are a few options. First, The cochlear implants, we will have to operate on him and put the little divice in his hears, that way he will get his hearing back for a full 100%. There is only one catch, it's really expensive. Another option is to give him the normal hearing aids. He will hear 20-50%, and willl be able to develope his speaking like a person without his condition. The last option. There are parents, who decide to get peace with the conditon. *gets some folders about deaf children and deaf schools out of his jacket and hands it to them* There are no bad or good choices, but you have to know, whatever you choose, you need to prepare your son, yourselves and the rest of your family.

Is there any risk to the cochlear implant surgery?

That's hard to say. The proceture isn't life threatening, but there are some small risks like infections, complications with the implant or we might have trouble placing the implant if your son has a facial nerve stimulation. But you have to remember that all surgeries come with risks, not only this one.

Thank you. We'll have to talk about it. Can you check my wife over quickly? The woman who caused the accident and abducted my brother in law and sister in law was just in here. I want to make sure everything is okay.

Yes, of course. *checks her over* Don't worry, your wife is just fine. Just make sure she has plently of rest. *gets a call from nurse Jackson* Uh-oh, I have to run. For more questions, don't hesitate to ask any doctor or nurse. *walks out*
