Good girl. *smiles sadly as he looks her in the eye* Sometimes when we get mad or angry, we say sometimes things that can hurt people even though we don't mean it. Do you understand that?

*nods* Good. Now, I would like you to sit here as long as I am upstairs, and want you to think about that. Think about the things you said and when I come back I want an appology to a special someone *hint* , do you know of who I am talking about, Emma?

I am talking about Mommy and Neal. So, can I go upstairs and talk to Mommy? Will you promise me you will stay in the chair and think about what I said? Can I expect an apology when we get downstairs?

I am proud of you. *Stands up straight* Don't forget, there is no walking or talking, only thinking. *heads upstairs to the master bedroom*

*Is still crying* Our daughter hates me. I feel like I'm failing her all over again.

*walks up to her and rubs small circles on her back* She doesn't hate you, she is six. She just had a tantrum like Neal does sometimes. You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, if I was the one who stayed home, she would have said the same thing to me. You are not failing her, Snow. She loves you, I am sure about that.

*Nods* I know... you're right... Neal has tantrums too. It's just... I don't know how long she's going to stay small and I want every minute to count. I just want to enjoy her but I want her to enjoy us too.

What about you and Emma go shopping tomorrow morning? Then Neal and I meet you afterwards and we go get those bikes they both wanted to have. *smiles* Remember the pink bike?

*Smiles* They'll love that. Who would think they would get to learn to ride a bike together?
